Another airbrush for your viewing pleasure.
The Phantom of the Opera happens to be another unfortunate obsession of mine that has been neglected in alot of my art. Yet strangely enough, it happens to be one of my bigger obsessions. (But aren't they all a little over the top for me?)

When I saw it for the first time, it happened to be the musical, and after we got home I watched the movie for the first time. This was years ago, but after seeing it I watched it at least 5 times a week for well over 2 months.
Erik is a beautiful soul, and a simple offering of a rose symbolizes so much of his affection (or obsession) for Christine.
I could have simply called this "A Rose" or "For You" but I wanted it to have some meaning behind it.

This airbrush took about 4 school days, so around 16 hours, give or take a few.
I'm very proud of how it came out, considering it's my first airbrushed rose, and my mom almost cried when I gave this to her for an early Christmas present (giggle)

This is absolutely beautiful!!! The rose reminds me of an old painting and I like how Erik is kind of blurred in the background. Really really fantastic work!
