The first time I saw this big bad my heart stopped in place. Words cannot express how absolutely excited I am to see him up on the big screen for Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales.
I absolutely love his design, I absolutely love his voice, and I cannot wait to see him added to the roster of POTC villains. I love everything about him, and I really hope that my image did him justice.

This is done on 16"x20" black suede illustration board, airbrushed with an Iwata Eclipse airbrush, black and white charcoal, and a select few Prismacolour pencil crayons.
This took me approximately 7 hours to complete from start to finish -- a little longer than normal for me, but I wanted to make sure that the image was clean and precise.
